Ashmi Jha is the founder of ElderCare Connect and a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, concentrating in Technology, Policy, and Innovation. Through ElderCare Connect, her team earned first place in the PMI Japan Chapter and PMI Region 9 competitions in 2025, among 99 projects across nine Asia-Pacific regions, followed by third place in the PMI APAC Student Competition in 2026.
Her entrepreneurial work focuses on developing accessible technology for older adults, combining AI-enabled caregiving concepts with stakeholder engagement, business development, and implementation planning. This experience informs her perspective on closing the change readiness gap: helping teams turn ambitious ideas into practical outcomes through collaboration, adaptability, and attention to people’s needs.
